Truth Talk
Truth Talk is a bold, dialogue-driven podcast where filters die and truth speaks. Hosted by Caleb Cross and Eliana Rivers, each episode strips away religious fluff, hyper-grace distortions, self-help illusions, and New Age counterfeits to uncover the raw, Edenic truth of Scripture.
Through honest back-and-forth conversation, they expose the hidden layers of sin, the scandal of the Cross, and the shocking hope of resurrection life. From the garden of Eden to the torn veil of the temple, every episode connects ancient wisdom to your daily walk with clarity, conviction, and courage.
This isn’t safe religion. It’s not motivational hype. It’s unfiltered gospel: Adam’s curse overturned, Christ’s blood shed, Eden’s gate reopened.

Meet the Voices
Caleb Cross — the prophetic voice of Truth Talk. Bold, uncompromising, and always pointing back to Eden’s blueprint and Christ’s cross, Caleb embodies the fiery watchman who calls out distortions, exposes hidden deceptions, and declares raw truth without filters.
Eliana Rivers — the seeker’s voice. Honest, curious, and sometimes hesitant, she asks the questions many listeners carry: “But doesn’t this sound harsh?” or “Isn’t grace supposed to be effortless?” Her role is to bring the human wrestle to the table so the answers land where real people live.
Together — Caleb and Eliana are narrative voices created for Truth Talk. They aren’t individual preachers but conversation partners who embody two sides we all need: conviction and curiosity. Their dynamic makes weighty biblical truth engaging, relatable, and unforgettable.

A Note on the Voices
Caleb Cross and Eliana Rivers are not literal people but narrative voices created for Truth Talk. They embody the journey every believer faces: conviction and curiosity. Caleb carries the prophetic, truth-declaring weight; Eliana gives space to the honest questions we all wrestle with. Together, they make room for Scripture to speak with both fire and tenderness.
This podcast does not target people but weighs doctrines. We believe most preachers genuinely desire to point people to God. Our purpose is simply to measure every message against Scripture and, where needed, bring correction — so that Eden’s air can breathe through again.
Truth Talk
Without fruit, there is no life flowing through your faith.
Jesus explicitly tells us that we will know believers by their fruit, challenging popular teachings that downplay the importance of spiritual evidence in our lives.
• True faith always produces visible fruit as evidence of genuine connection with God
• Faith without manifestation in obedience is not real faith but fiction
• The Greek word "apatheo" reveals unbelief proves itself through disobedience
• A healthy branch doesn't strain to produce fruit; it naturally bears fruit by abiding
• "Hyper-grace" dangerously swaps fruit for feelings, ignoring Jesus' warnings
• Jesus warned that trees without good fruit are cut down and thrown into fire
• False assurance prepares people who cry "Lord, Lord" but never truly knew Him
• Examine your life honestly for evidence of love, holiness, and obedience
• Fruit comes from abiding in the vine, not from human effort or striving
• Embrace spiritual pruning, though painful, to make room for stronger fruit
Join us for episode 9 where we'll confront the spirit of lawlessness and the distortion that says obedience doesn't matter at all.

So, Caleb, last time you said the gate is narrow and only a few find it. But I've also heard sermons say don't worry about fruit, just focus on Jesus. God looks at your heart, Isn't that enough?
Speaker 2:Ileana. Here's the truth. Jesus himself said in Matthew 7, 16, by their fruits you will know them. Not by slogans, not by feelings, by fruit. A tree isn't judged by the bark it wears, but by the fruit it bears. Faith unseen in obedience isn't faith, it's fiction.
Speaker 1:So you're saying belief without fruit isn't real belief?
Speaker 2:Here's the hidden layer. Remember John 3.36? That word, apatheo means unbelief, proves itself in disobedience. True faith produces fruit always. A branch in Eden doesn't strain to prove it's alive, it simply abides and bears. But no fruit means no flow. No flow means no life.
Speaker 1:So, but, caleb, doesn't this sound condemning? I mean, people slip up, people struggle. Aren't we supposed to just keep declaring I'm the righteousness of God and move on?
Speaker 2:Here's the forbidden insight Hyper-grace swaps fruit for feelings. It tells you, ignore obedience, ignore holiness, just declare. But Jesus said, Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. False assurance is deadly. It lulls people into thinking they're safe while their roots are rotting. It prepares pews full of people who shout Lord, Lord, but never knew him. That's not freedom, that's fatal.
Speaker 1:So fruit isn't optional. It's proof.
Speaker 2:Yes, which brings us to the next step. Examine the tree. Ask honestly what fruit is showing in my life Love, holiness, obedience or excuses. Stay in the vine. Fruit doesn't come from effort but from abiding. Connection produces evidence. Invite pruning. Let the spirit cut off what drains life. Painful pruning makes room for stronger fruit.
Speaker 1:Ah. So fruit isn't pressure, it's proof, the evidence that Eden's life is really flowing in me.
Speaker 2:Exactly, that's the raw truth. No filters, just freedom. And then episode 9 will confront the spirit of lawlessness, the distortion that says obedience doesn't matter at all. This is Truth Talk, where filters die and truth speaks.
