A Note on the Voices
Caleb Cross and Eliana Rivers are not literal people but narrative voices created for Truth Talk. They embody the journey every believer faces: conviction and curiosity. Caleb carries the prophetic, truth-declaring weight; Eliana gives space to the honest questions we all wrestle with. Together, they make room for Scripture to speak with both fire and tenderness.
This podcast does not target people but weighs doctrines. We believe most preachers genuinely desire to point people to God. Our purpose is simply to measure every message against Scripture and, where needed, bring correction — so that Eden’s air can breathe through again.

Holy Disobedience: Are Churches Accidentally Prepping for Antichrist?
We tackle the dangerous misunderstanding that grace excuses disobedience, revealing how this mindset aligns with what the Bible explicitly calls "lawlessness." Jesus warned that many religious people will be rejected as "workers of lawlessness" despite calling Him Lord, showing that profession without obedience leads to spiritual deception.
• True grace trains obedience while fake grace excuses rebellion (Titus 2:11-12)
• Lawlessness isn't just breaking rules but rejecting God's design and authority
• The Antichrist is called "the man of lawlessness" in 2 Thessalonians 2:3
• Churches that normalize disobedience create an atmosphere where deception thrives
• Grace empowers obedience rather than erasing it
• Steps to reject counterfeit grace: name it, repent of it, train with real grace, guard your atmosphere
Join us for episode 10 where we'll explore the consequences of lawlessness and how the wrath of God remains unless we abide in Christ through obedience.

Ah, Caleb, in episode 8, you said fruit proves faith. But I've heard preachers say don't obsess over fruit, Just focus on grace. Obedience will come naturally. And if I sin, just declare you're righteous and move on. Isn't that okay?
Caleb Cross:Eliana. Here's the truth. That mindset is exactly what the Bible calls lawlessness. 1 John 3, 4 says everyone who sins breaks the law. In fact, sin is lawlessness. Lawlessness isn't just breaking rules, it's rejecting design, it's saying God's commands don't matter. That's not Eden, that's exile.
Eliana Rivers:Oh so lawlessness isn't just sinning, it's despising the idea that obedience even matters.
Caleb Cross:Here's the hidden layer. Jesus warned in Matthew 7.23 that many will say Lord, lord. But he will reply Depart from me, you workers of lawlessness. They weren't atheists, they were churchgoers who thought grace excused disobedience. Grace was never a license to ignore his word. Titus 2.11 and 12 says Grace teaches us to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives. True grace trains obedience. Fake grace excuses rebellion.
Eliana Rivers:But Caleb, isn't that a bit extreme? But Caleb isn't that a bit extreme? Like, are you saying hyper-grace actually prepares people for Antichrist?
Caleb Cross:Yes, and here's the forbidden insight. The Bible calls him the man of lawlessness in 2 Thessalonians 2.3. The spirit of Antichrist thrives where lawlessness is normalized. So when churches preach obedience doesn't matter, fruit doesn't matter, just declare they're not preparing saints for Christ, they're prepping lungs to breathe Antichrist atmosphere. Flippancy isn't freedom, it's formation for deception.
Eliana Rivers:Flippancy isn't freedom, it's formation for deception. So a gospel without obedience isn't just incomplete, it's dangerous.
Caleb Cross:Yes, which brings us to the next step. Name the counterfeit. Where have you believed? Grace means commands don't matter. Repent of it. Train with real grace. Open Titus 2 and let grace teach you obedience. Grace is a teacher, not a cover-up. Guard the atmosphere. Refuse to normalize lawlessness. Surround yourself with truth, not flippancy.
Eliana Rivers:So grace doesn't erase obedience, it empowers it. Anything less is lawlessness.
Caleb Cross:Exactly, that's the raw truth no filters, just freedom. And in episode 10, we'll see the consequence of lawlessness the wrath of God remains unless we abide in Christ, through obedience. This is Truth Talk, where filters die and truth speaks.
